Barbara Broccoli has reported been clashing again with Amazon over the future of the 'James Bond' franchise.

'Reacher' has made nearly $280 million for Amazon Prime Video in subscriber revenue alone, according to a new study by Parrot Analytics.

Amazon reached a deal with the Broccoli family, the James Bond franchise’s longstanding producers, to form a new joint venture.

“Since his theatrical introduction over 60 years ago, James Bond has been one of the most iconic characters in filmed entertainment,” said Mike Hopkins, head of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios.

Longtime producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have formed a new joint venture with Amazon MGM that will see them step back from creative control of the venerable spy-fi series.
