Ukraine has damaged 10% of the Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries' facilities. What would the same shock mean for Amazon in the US?

Ukraine has ratcheted up its attacks on Russia's Amazon-style retail giant, Wildberries, signaling a new phase in the war.

At least five people have been killed in a Ukrainian drone attack targeting a warehouse operated by the Russian equivalent of Amazon. Around 10 people were also injured in the attack on a warehouse belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer, in Chekhov, just outside Moscow, on Monday, the region’s governor, Andrei Vorobyov, said.

Since mid-July, Ukraine has carried out a series of attacks on Wildberries sites, saying they are used to help supply Russia's military.

Ukraine's drone attacks on Russia's biggest online retailer, Wildberries, have ratcheted up the pressure on Moscow's wartime economy.

Russia struck the main logistics hub of Rozetka, Ukraine's largest online retailer, twice inside a day, days after Ukrainian drones began hitting Wildberries warehouses in Russia. Kyiv has publicly defended those strikes and named its reasons.
