White Sox's Gage Workman: Lands on IL with hip injury
The White Sox placed Workman on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a right hip flexor strain. Workman was evidently injured during his first start with the White Sox on Wednesday. It's not clear at this point how long the rookie infielder might be sidelined.
