Novak Djokovic has pulled out of the Cincinnati Open for what officially was listed as a “non-medical” reason. Monday's withdrawal means he will head to the U.S.

Novak Djokovic will not be taking part in the Cincinnati Open 2025, which means he will enter the US Open 2025 without any real preparation.

The 38-year-old Serbian, who has reached three Grand Slam semifinals so far in 2025, was scheduled to make his first hard-court appearance since his semifinal defeat at Wimbledon in July, cited “non-medical reasons” for his withdrawal.
