President Donald Trump signed executive actions on Wednesday imposing a 50% tariff on Brazil, a 50% tariff on certain copper products and suspending a tax perk for all countries that allowed cheap packages to fly into the US duty-free.

The president also touted agreements over hundreds of billions of dollars in foreign investment into the United States.

The US president imposed crippling 50% tariffs on Brazil, a 25% levy on Indian exports and a 15% tariff for South Korean exports, while warning Canada it would face trade repercussions for planning to recognize a Palestinian state.
