There was a Premier League flavor to Napoli's scudetto-clinching 2-0 win over Cagliari on Friday, as Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku scored to give the Neapolitans a second Serie A title in three seasons.

Napoli has won its second Serie A title in three years. Its 2-0 home win over Cagliari has been decisive on Friday in the final round.

Scott McTominay fired Napoli to the top of Serie A with his spectacular twelfth league goal of the season. The former Manchester United midfielder produced a sensational acrobatic volley inside the six-yard box to put the Partenopei 1-0 up at the Diego Maradona.

McTominay and Gilmour are now the first Scotland internationals to win the Serie A title in 120 years, dating back to 1905 when Jack Diment and James Squair won Juventus’s first ever top-flight title.
