The Pixel 10 Pro XL is finally official and it's better than the key competition from Samsung and Apple, as well as the smaller Pixel 10 Pro, in these two key ways.

That said, it looks like the complete magnetic charging experience is reserved for Google's large-screen flagship, the Pixel 10 Pro XL, making the rest of the Pixel 10 lineup feel like a compromise. One of the highlighting features of the new Pixel 10 series is the addition of magnets to the back of the phone (finally).

Even though the it was only Google's second foldable ever, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold remains one of my favorite devices of 2024 even after a year of wear and tear.
