More than a year after the Arizona Coyotes folded, sending players and managment to Salt Lake City, Utah's NHL team has a new name.

After a mammoth undertaking of buying an NHL team, moving players, coaches and a full staff more than 600 miles and getting it all together in a manner of months before the puck dropped on a new season,

Utah Hockey Club is morphing into the Utah Mammoth. That’s what the NHL franchise will permanently be known as, the organization announced Wednesday, following a 13-month process that included four rounds of fan voting and more than 850,000 ballots cast.
