The Minnesota Frost won their second straight Walter Cup championship on Monday. The club will celebrate being the only team to ever win a PWHL title in Downtown St. Paul on Wednesday, May 28. Frost players, coaches, and staff will start the party by marching the Walter Cup from Tria Rink to Xcel Energy Center at 5:30 p.m.
ST PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Frost is filled with talent, Minnesota-born talent. Forwards Kelly Pannek and Liz Schepers both grew up in the land of frozen lakes. Pannek scored the first goal against the Ottawa Charge, while Schepers scored the game-winner. Schepers is a Mound Westonka alum while Panek attended Benilde St. Margaret.
