It’s Kia EV Day, and all those who celebrate are excited, confused, and arguing. The brand held an event in Tarragona, Spain, last week to unveil a series of new electric vehicles, only one of which is certain to come to the U.S. Thankfully, it’s the most interesting one.

Kia has officially launched the EV4, its first electric sedan and hatchback, at the 2025 Kia EV Day in Tarragona, Spain. The company first unveiled the EV4 as a concept at CES last year, along with several other models.

Kia expands its electric vehicle range with the all-new EV4, a sedan and hatchback pairing aimed at shoppers who aren’t interested in SUVs.Originally previewed as a concept in late 2023, the production EV4 has now been officially revealed.

At EV Day, Kia presents the EV4 as a hatchback and fastback, the small SUV EV2 as a study and the PV5 utility vehicle series as passenger car and cargo chassis.

KIA showcased its first fully electric commercial vehicle as it revealed its plans to broaden the scope of its zero emissions models at a recent EV Day event.
