ESPN’s Brian Windhorst believes the Phoenix Suns are more likely to trade Dillon Brooks than Jalen Green this offseason following the Kevin Durant deal.

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant was traded to the Houston Rockets for guard Jalen Green, forward Dillon Brooks, the 10th pick in the 2025 NBA draft and five second-round picks in a blockbuster deal on Sunday.

Green was a logical candidate to get dealt to Phoenix in a trade for Durant because of his salary and potential upside. The former No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft signed a unique contract extension with the Rockets last offseason: a three-year, $106 million deal with a player option after the second season.
