After a blockbuster trade on Tuesday, Nov. 4, that sent two first-round picks and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell to the New York Jets, the Indianapolis Colts got their first look at their newest cornerback, Sauce Gardner.

Indianapolis Colts cornerback Sauce Gardner was thinking about a pick-6. “I was trying to score, so I was already looking at the end zone,” Gardner said. The Colts were trailing 17-13 at the time, on a third-and-8 with just under 10 minutes to go in the third quarter.

The Colts' other starting defensive tackle, Grover Stewart, went to the medical tent after collision on the first play of the second half for a possible head injury then to the locker room, eliminating the heart of the Colts' run defense against Atlanta's Bijan Robinson. He is questionable to return.
