Indiana men’s basketball’s players slowly trotted off the court Tuesday night as a crucial opportunity slipped from their fingertips. The Hoosiers led with less than two minutes remaining, but stumbled to the finish the line, falling short of a late-season Quad 1 win on the road.

Oregon's center, Nate Bittle, will also challenge Indiana inside on both ends of the court. The 7-footer is 13.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game, meaning Indiana won't be able to just dump it in the paint for easy points.

If Indiana basketball ends up on the wrong side of the NCAA Tournament bubble, the final two minutes of a 73-64 loss to Oregon will loom large in the Hoosiers' minds. Oregon guard Jackson Shelstad hit a 3-pointer from nearly 30-feet out to beat the shot clock with 1:30 to go in the game.
