SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Hao-Yu Lee drove in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning with a pinch-hit single and the Detroit Tigers beat the San Fracisco Giants 3-1 on Sunday in the rubber game of their series.
The final game of the Tigers' nine game West Coast road trip had a bit of everything, but ended with a 3-1 win in extra innings.
With a 3-1 loss to the Detroit Tigers on Sunday afternoon, the Giants have fallen 20 games below .500 for the first time since 2017. With this team’s record sitting at 49-69, it’s hard to imagine many packed houses the rest of the way.
