Elmo's mission of kindness and wholesomeness is back in full swing, days after an alleged hack led puppet's X page to post racist remarks and claims about Jeffrey Epstein.

Nothing is sacred anymore, not even 'Sesame Street.' Our beloved Elmo had his account hacked in order to spew some hateful (and confusing) nonsense.

Sesame Workshop confirmed in a statement to Variety on Monday morning that the account had in fact been “compromised by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts.” The spokesperson confirmed that the “account has since been secured.”

It seems Elmo's world recently included vitriolic racist and antisemitic social media posts. Sesame Workshop says it seeks to restore control over the beloved puppet's X page.

“Elmo’s X account was briefly compromised yesterday by an unknown hacker who posted disgusting messages ... a string of hate speech incidents since the billionaire bought then-Twitter in 2022 and axed moderation policies that he considers censorship.

Horrific posts on the "Sesame Street" character's X account only remained online for a short period, but still went viral.
