A shooting at a school north of Bangkok left five teachers dead and more than 30 people injured on Friday after a teen gunman opened fire before turning the weapon on himself, in one of the country’s deadliest such incidents in recent years.
Images shared by emergency responders showed students leaving Debsirin Nonthaburi School, located on the north-western outskirts of Bangkok, as ambulances arrived at the scene.
A 14-year-old student opened fire at a high school outside Bangkok on Friday, killing at least five people and wounding more than 20 after he appeared to kill his two grandparents at the family home, athorities said. The shooter then took his own life at the school, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul confimed.
