South Carolina women's basketball won the SEC tournament, beating then No. 1 Texas, and is now No. 2 in the AP top 25 and in the USA TODAY coaches poll. The Gamecocks (30-3) finished the regular season on a four-game win streak and picked up three more wins in the tournament,

The Gamecocks (30-3) entered the SEC Tournament ranked fifth in the country and projected to be a No. 2 seed. But after throttling three league foes, a No. 1 seed now seems to be a lock.
