See the ponies swim! Chincoteague Pony Swim kicks off, marking 100 years

The 100th annual Chincoteague Pony Swim kicked off Wednesday morning in Virginia. Thousands came out to watch the ponies and their foals swim across the Assateague Channel. Some of the ponies will be auctioned off on Thursday at Chincoteague Island. Then, they will swim back to Assateague Island on Friday.
