North Carolina held its position in the AP Top 25 but climbed in the Coaches Poll after a strong week, continuing its unbeaten start and building momentum ahead of Tuesday’s matchup with Navy.

After picking up wins against in-state rivals Miami and Florida State, Florida moved up in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll.

However, when they face UConn, Michigan certainly can prove that they are worthy of voters’ high regard. Big 12 teams moved up a combined 13 spots in the AP poll, while West Virginia debuted at No. 23. No conference member slid from their prior spot, either.
