An ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day is in effect for Sunday as a cold front continues to press south this afternoon amidst an unstable environment. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for much of Mid-Missouri for the potential of 60-70 mph winds and golf ball size or larger hail until 10:00 tonight.
On Monday, a line of showers and storms will push west to east across the region from about late morning through the afternoon. As temperatures warm and instability rises, this line should gain strength and potentially become severe before clearing Ohio.
