Back in the 1990s, it felt like every TV was tuned into an Atlanta Braves game. But the lore stretches beyond the triple-threat of Glavine, Maddux, and Smotlz. After all, this team is where Hammerin’ Hank made home run history.

Inside the lobby, fans were greeted by performers, MLB speakers and legendary Braves pitcher Greg Maddux. “I think everybody was waiting for a long time to be here in Atlanta,” said David James, Vice President of Baseball and Softball for Major League Baseball.

Along Battery Avenue, the still-carpet-smooth new street that runs along the outside of Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, the All-Star banners are flying. Images of Aaron Judge, Tarik Skubal, Paul Skenes and other stars decorate the walls and light posts around the ballpark in advance of next week’s All-Star Game.
